I’ve been using the BLOGGER PRO word press theme by Design Disease for using this theme hehehehe:-)) for more than a month now and I love the theme. However I wanted to accomplish some stuff that I see are done by other bloggers on their site using the same theme as I have. In order to do this I have to tweak the theme a little bit. There are times that I get discouraged, especially when I could not find a solution to the desired effect I am looking for. I am sometimes tempted to switch themes in order to solve the problem immediately. However until now I have resisted that temptation. I figure out that it is better to face the problem than run away from it. I always tend to look at the glass half full hence I decided to stick it out with this theme and study hard in order to achieve the desired effect I want implemented on my blog. How to pass the Philippine Bar exams
More than 27 years ago Madame Justice Ameurfina Melencio-Hererra, Chairperson of the Committee on Bar Examinations submitted a report to the Philippine Supreme Court her observations on the 1980 bar exams. Her pointed remarks on how the examinees answered the 1980 bar exams could serve as a lesson for those who are aspiring to make it to the Philippine bar. The actual report is seven pages long. I have summarized the report in order to drive home the point. In order to hurdle the Philippine bar exams, examinees must have a mastery of what I call as the four “L’s.” in taking the bar exams, Language, Logic, Law and Layout. A stronger Philippine Peso . . . Fearless forecast for the months to come
Before we resume our regular stock market series and discuss the strengthening of the Peso. This is an important factor that plays a vital role in determining the economic outlook of our country. This will also help you decide when considering investments. When the dollar-Peso Exchange rate was still P44+ to a dollar, I told my dad to dump all his dollar, exchange it for peso and put it in mutual funds. I don’t know if my dad has listened to my advice, but now the exchange rate is now nearing P 40.00 to a dollar. For those of you living in the Philippines and who has still dollars in their accounts, it is not yet too late to exchange it to avoid loosing more in the months or even years to come. A new way to place a non-obtrusive ad in a blog
There are three forces that are constantly struggling to dictate how a blogger will design his blog or website. Those three are ads, rich user experience and search engine optimization. Those three are always at war with each other and it is up to the blogger to maintain a balance between them. Some blogs have too much ads that visitors to the site get turned off by pesky ads. (Ads such as Pop-ups, pop-overs and pop-unders) But what can I say, a blogger has to earn some dough for what he is doing. A new way to celebrate the new year
Last year I preached this new year message in several churches where I was invited to preach. This message has blessed my heart so much. I hope this will bless you too as we celebrate the first Lord ’s Day this year. My three main texts are found in Exodus 12:1-24, 13:1-10, Exodus 23:14-19 and Deuteronomy 16:1-22 Introduction: The month of January is named after the Roman god Janus, who was pictured as a man with two faces, one looking backward and the other forward. New Year’s Day provides a valuable time to ponder the past while anticipating the future. The New year In the Old Testament— The first month of the Hebrew calendar was in the spring, around March/April. In its later history the nation of Israel adopted all 12 months of the Babylonian calendar as their civil calendar.
