Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista will defend his WBO Intercontinental super bantam belt against Mexico’s Eden “Anestecista” Marquez this coming August 30, 2008 at the Water Front Hotel in Lahug Cebu.

The Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista vs. Eden “Anestecista” Marquez is dubbed as the WBO Night of Champions and will also feature another interesting fight between Donnie Nietes and Nicaraguan Eddy Castro.

Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista holds a record of 26 wins and 1 loss with 18 knock outs while his opponent “Anestecista” Marquez holds a record of 16 wins, 3 losses, and 3 draws with 12 KO.
