My Blog is being overhauled !!!!

March 26, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 4 Comments

If you notice my blog is stripped bare and does not use to look as it did before. I am currently doing an “overhaul”of my blog.

I apologize to all of my readers, advertisers, fans, entrecard droppers etc. for this inconvenience. Hopefully this “overhauling” will be completed this week.

The reason for this overhauling is because Rob Schultz an SEO expert of truebluetitan.com, pointed out to me that my blog contains a lot of errors in the eyes of search engine bots. This might affect my search engine rankings including a rich user experience. I will write in detail about this later on in one of my posts.

Some of the graphics, youtube videos and other stuff that I use to run in the front page are still deactivated. So do not be surprise if you click on posts that are empty.

All of the archived posts are however working.  However you might be interested to have your blog or website validated. Check out the Validator.

Whew ! Validation is a painstaking work. I wish there was some sort of “blog insurance” See you around !

oh, the validator. i don’t focus on it. even Google with its simple homepage failed that validation. And also Yahoo. Only MSN is validated and I don’t like to be like MSN. 😀 just my two cents.

I was wondering where your sidebar and entrecard dropbox went! It looks all in order now.

I used to be really focused on xhtml and css validation, but ever since wordpress came along I just let it be. As long as it doesn’t pose major cross-browser problems I’m happy!

marghil, crystal: I agree with both of you. Focusing on the validation can be very time consuming. But anyways I have already started it so I might as well finish it. Besides I think if I can have the best of having a validated blog and correcting errors in some “rogue” codes then that would be great for my blog overall.

Crystal: Its not yet completely in order. I am still about 70 % complete in the validation. If you strip off the right side bar (Entrecard code and project wonderful code) this blog passes validation with flying colors. I am still trying to work out how to pass validation with the entrecard and project wonderful codes with the help of a friend.
