The other day I got a long distance call from our publisher. She gave me a good news. She informed me that our book, the Lex Pareto Notes is now available in National Bookstores nationwide !!! As soon as I heard the news, I waited for several days since I considered that it will take some time for them to ship it to their branches. However after 3 days somebody informed me that the Lex Pareto Notes was already available in the National Bookstore in Ayala Cebu. In the following days, I received calls from law students asking me when will volume 1 be made available. They also informed me that they came across the Lex Pareto Notes in the National Bookstore branches. By the way I have already mailed the script for volume 1 to our publisher. I estimate that it will be made available sometime in Late June or early July this year. (2008) I went to Ayala to see for myself. Word press plugin caused the suspension of my blog ?
For those of you who are consistently following this blog, you might be wondering why I have not entered a single posts for this week. I had been consistently writing one post per day for the past 3 months. Just last month I have decided not to blog on weekends. I had articles scheduled to be posted this week. Unfortunately, my hosting company’s server had technical problems, so my blog was inaccessible for more than a day. What is worse is that all of my advance posts have been deleted and what is left is the last post I wrote last week. Finally my blog came back up for several hours. I started to reposts my advance posts and the suddenly I was informed that my account was suspended. So far the past 3 or 4 days I was corresponding with the technical support people of my hosting company on why my blog was suspended. As some of you already know, I have written a five volume law reviewer called the Lex Pareto Notes together with seven of my law school buddies and friends. The sun and moon just does not rise and set randomly, it follows a certain pattern. Seasons goes through certain cycles. What goes up must come down, and for every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction. Even how chaotic a system might be, there is always a certain “order” to it. Einstein’s quote above is often paraphrased as “God does not play dice with the universe” To recognize the existence of such patterns and to make use of them will be certainly to our advantage.
