My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." Advance Happy Father’s day 2008 !

Advance Happy Father’s day to all including my own father, my father-in-law, my grandfathers and all fathers all over the world. In the Philippines we celebrate father’s day on the 3rd Sunday of June just like in the United States and in most countries. So on Sunday, June 15, 2008 we will be celebrating Father’s day. According to Wikipedia, the first modern Father’s day celebration started in the United States on July 5, 1908, at Fairmont, West Virginia. It was first celebrated as a church service at Williams Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church South, now known as Central United Methodist Church. Ms. Grace Golden Clayton, is believed to be the first to suggest such service to his pastor in honor of the fathers that died in a deadly mine explosion in nearby Monongah the prior December.
