Support and sponsor a child in the Philippines
A family strives to survive to provide a better and satisfying life. The father, as the breadwinner, earns less in carpentry to support the needs of the family. The mother, a housewife, tries to find a job to sustain their financial needs. Working as a house helper is the only means of getting employed. They are renting in a small room. They do not have electricity and they get water from the well. The family depends much on the father’s income. What he earns is spent on their basic necessities and that alone could not send their four children to school. Two of the children were able to study until grade two. The eldest, sixteen, is helping his father in carpentry. While the second child, aged eleven, stopped schooling due to inability of parents to pay her school fees. Major Changes in the Bar Examination: Impact on bar exam review and coaching – Part 1
My good friend, Prof. Manuel Riguera of Jurists bar review Center has emailed me an article he has personally written on the “major major” changes in the bar exams and the impact of bar exam review and coaching. As most of you already know, Prof. Riguera is a well known bar exam reviewer and author of book entitled “Primer Reviewer in Remedial law.” He is also one of the owners and founders and currently the review director of Jurists Bar Review center, the pioneer of the very well known “coaching style bar exam review with mock bar exams” concept. The article, discusses the changes in the bar exams and Professor Riguera’s commentary on these changes. He further highlights the greater need for coaching when preparing the bar exams in the light of these new changes. Will Korea go to war?
The world's eyes are now fastened on the Korean Peninsula as the two Koreas, North and South Korea, is determined to make history. As to whether this will result to a third world war, a regional instability brought about by a war or it ending in a peaceful resolution of the conflict will be remain to be seen in the coming days. North Korea has been taunting South Korea and other countries for the past decades. For several years now North Korea has been accused of abducting Japanese and South Koreans alike. North Korea has been under repeated sanctions by the United Nations Security council, for developing nuclear weapons, weapons of mass destruction and continuing on their nuclear testing. Despite this the North Koreans won’t budge and continues to defy the world’s super powers. There seems to be a lot of indication that the tension between the two Koreas will escalate into a conflict.
