Welcome polymaths !

Ever get the feeling that you seem to don't know what to do with your life because there are just so many things that you want to do ? I know, I've been there, so welcome to the club.

My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." I've finally embraced who I am and decided to turn my main blog into some sort of guide for people with so much interest. Feel free to poke around.

A drug and Alcohol rehabilitation center to consider

May 6, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 5 Comments

I know several people who are drug addicts. Some of them have changed for the better while others have changed for the worst. My uncle did not enroll himself in a drug rehabilitation center but he gave up his drug habits. Yet another uncle went through 3 different drug rehabilitation centers in different locations but still remained a drug addict. Fortunately after enrolling in a drug rehabilitation the 4th time, he became a changed man. Drug rehabilitation centers may or may not work for you. But I believe if you have a substance abuse problem, enrolling in one might increase your chances of getting rehabilitated. If you or your loved ones have a drug problem, you might consider the Sunset Malibu. This drug rehabilitation center is said to be the most private, luxurious Drug and Alcohol Treatment center in Malibu, California. They claim to have created "the ultimate environment to promote long-term sobriety and addiction recovery by limiting enrollment and offering a wide … [Read more...]

Biyahe Tayo ! (Let’s travel)

May 2, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 2 Comments

I love traveling! Going around the world to explore different sites and exploring the different cultures of other people has always been my passion. However in order to be considered to be a certified “jetsetter” I should consider exploring first my own native land. (Compounded by the fact that I still could not afford to travel around the world hehehehe perhaps when I retire someday) Corruption and a lousy government system aside, the Philippines is such a beautiful country. They say that when God made the Philippine islands he was so fascinated with it that he made 7,000 more of it. It is so ironic that Filipinos travel abroad to experience different sites and cultures. There is so much to see in our country and so much culture to experience that I believe it would take a lifetime to explore everything. As the song goes, Filipinos should not be “strangers” in their own native land. The Philippine department of Tourism has come up with an ad campaign to encourage domestic … [Read more...]
