Welcome polymaths !

Ever get the feeling that you seem to don't know what to do with your life because there are just so many things that you want to do ? I know, I've been there, so welcome to the club.

My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." I've finally embraced who I am and decided to turn my main blog into some sort of guide for people with so much interest. Feel free to poke around.

2008 Philippine Bar exam results finally out

March 23, 2009 by Zigfred Diaz 6 Comments

At last, bar candidates can breathe a sigh of relief as the 2008 Philippine Bar exam results is finally out. The Philippine bar exams is said to be the hardest and the longest exam in the country. Candidates are subjected to a grueling 32 hours, 4 Sundays of all essay type questions. The exam is perceived to be very daunting, that some examinees end up backing out in the first two Sundays. Taking the bar exams is so exhausting that it is like working on manual pond pumps for a month ! The worst case scenario is that some examinees end up in the hospital or worse the mental institution. The good news is that I have not heard of anybody yet who has died because of taking the Philippine bar exams. (And I hope that nobody will) It is the only exam supervised by the Philippine Supreme Court and is held during the month of September. It is perhaps the most celebrated among the exams both during the exams itself and during the release of the exam results. Still have family, friends … [Read more...]

Jurists Bar Review Center ad in youtube

March 20, 2009 by Zigfred Diaz 3 Comments

Finally, I have managed to make an ad for Jurists Bar Review Center and uploaded it in youtube. I lost the pictures I managed to take in last year’s Jurists Bar Review Cebu, so I had difficulty in creating a flashy ad without pictures. I’ve already managed to a youtube ad for the Lex Pareto Notes a year ago, I planned one for Jurists Bar Review Center, but my creative juices just didn’t work yet. Finally after filing it somewhere in my brain and forgetting about it, inspiration just struck me just like it did when Leonardo painted his Mona Lisa, when Newton discovered the law of gravity and when Beethoven worked on his ninth symphony. (whahahahahaha !!!) :-) So stick out your plasma mount, click on the youtube video below and enjoy the ad. Help spread the word! Forward this to every law student you know! If you would like to know more about Jurists Bar review center check out www.juristsbar.com.ph. For Jurists Bar Review Center - Cebu check out … [Read more...]

Guerilla Blogger in Philippine Senate inquiry

March 15, 2009 by Zigfred Diaz 6 Comments

Guerilla Blogger was grilled in a Philippine senate inquiry for implementing subversive and contrarian methods in blogging including the illegal use of guerilla blogging strategy and tactics. Hahahah not really ! :-)  Last February 10, 2009 my friend Atty. Andrew “Andy” Dadula and I had the opportunity to be invited to the Philippine Senate inquiry on the pre-need fiasco, in particular the Legacy Consolidated plans mess. Special thanks of course to my co-blogger in Cebu Blogging Society, Kevin Ray Chua of www.marroxas2010.blogpspot.com who referred me to the office of Atty. Blas Viterbo, Chief of staff of Senator Roxas for making all of this possible. Just having 3 hours sleep Monday night due to preparation of the documents that I have to bring to Manila, I forced myself to wake up at around 2:30 a.m. Our flight leaves at 5 a.m. So I have to leave the house at around 3 a.m, because I still have to pick up Andy. I arrived at our agreed rendezvous point on time, Andy arrived a … [Read more...]
