About a month ago, I sold my wife's almost two year old NEO laptop for half its price and decided to get the hottest sub-notebook PC craze - the Asus EeePC. After several weeks of using the ASUS EeePC, my wife said it was a great machine, and she wanted to keep it if she can, but she said she wanted a Nintendo Wii as well. I told her, I can't buy her a Wii because I was thinking of getting an Asus EeePC myself. She said that I can have her EeePC for as long as I get her a Wii. I remember about 5 years ago since my last laptop experience (A Toshiba Satellite) that I vowed that I would never again buy a laptop, not until they improve the battery life to at least 12 hours. Bohol Escapade !
Cebu City has currently 6 bar review centers. Of all the bar review centers, I believe we are the ones that has a very strong and intensive marketing program. We have utilized almost every form of marketing medium available. We have posted posters and distributed flyers in courts, study centers and law schools. We have utilized the radio and released press releases in newspapers. We are even contacting our own alumni to promote Jurists Bar Review Center. I just hope that our efforts may translate into more enrollments, considering that we are the new kid on the block and the competition to get bar reviewees is so stiff. Now that we have saturated Cebu City and Dumaguete City, (The Jurists Bar Review administration from Manila has saturated the nearby islands of Samar, Leyte and most of northern Mindanao) it was time for us to take our marketing efforts to the nearby island of Bohol, specifically in it’s capital city, Tagbilaran City. Jurists Bar Review Center – Cebu, Season 1 begins !
It was a good thing that the holiday for April 9 was moved to Monday as part of the "economics holiday" program of the president. I just stayed and slept in our house for the whole day. I just such an exhausting weekend. The reason for such is because Jurists Bar review Center - Cebu has officialy begun last Saturday, April 5, 2008. It was such an exciting time. I have not worked on the pictures and the videos yet, but I will describe the opening in detail in a future post with pictures and possibly videos of the event. So far we have 81 enrollees. Jurists Bar review Center – Manila had 82 when they first started. We are hoping to beat this record. If you have not enrolled yet this review season, why not come and join us. Do high trend low density “misspelled” keywords bring you lots of traffic ?
Veteran bloggers who have mastered the art of Search engine optimization (SEO) will tell you that one way of driving traffic into your blog is by optimizing “high-trend, low density keywords.” or what I call as HTLD or HITLOD. The definition of “high trend-low density” keywords has been discussed extensively in my previous posts such as - “googol – googel” “Mr Bean” and “Pinay scandal” In my own humble opinion, not all HTLD keywords can bring traffic to your site. There are certain keywords that may be classified as HTLD but they may not bring you traffic. An example of this is misspelled keywords. Some bloggers have been optimizing misspelled keywords and I don't know if this has been bringing them traffic and if it does bring traffic, does it bring them lots of it.
