Welcome polymaths !

Ever get the feeling that you seem to don't know what to do with your life because there are just so many things that you want to do ? I know, I've been there, so welcome to the club.

My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." I've finally embraced who I am and decided to turn my main blog into some sort of guide for people with so much interest. Feel free to poke around.

Making the most out of your bar exams review – Part 1

April 30, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 1 Comment

Next to waiting for the bar exams results, the grueling 5 months review before the bar exams is probably the most difficult trail by fire experience (Reminds me of burning your finger in an electric fireplace insert) a would be lawyer would go through before actually becoming a lawyer. The 5 month review is no joke at all. I would even go to the extent of saying that the experience is more gruesome than the actual bar exams month itself. For some, the cost involved in terms of time, money and resources is even equivalent or more to your four years in law school. The 5 month review before the bar exams runs somewhere from late March to late August. Since this period is the last time wherein you can review the concepts you have learned from doing four years law school before taking the actual bar exams, you must therefore make the best out of this review period. Here are some tips that I have personally experienced on how to make the best out of your bar review. The points given below … [Read more...]

Customizing your car grille

April 29, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 1 Comment

Are you fond of customizing your car? Personally I don’t. I consider it a waste of time and money. My brother however is fond of customizing his car. I don’t blame him. There are people who really love to customize their car by changing their mag wheels, steering wheel, tail lights, head lights and their car grilles. If you are fond of customizing your car you might want to consider visiting the website of the Wood Dash Experts Inc. They dub themselves as the experts in customization especially when it comes to car grilles. They offer a wide range of custom grilles for most Cars, Trucks, & SUVs. So if you are thinking of getting a new Ford grill you might want to drop by their site first. … [Read more...]

A step by step guide on how to optimize high traffic-low density keywords

April 27, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 28 Comments

I've always believed that there are only two things that you need to do to become a successful blogger. I call them having good “Fundamentals” and good “technicals” (Just like investing in the stock market hehehehe…) What I refer to as good Fundamentals is the writing of good content, having a good and search engine friendly blog template and having a good layout of your blog. Having good “technicals” means doing stuff that will drive traffic to your blog. One of the ways that will drive traffic your blog is to increase your ranking in google for HITLOD keywords (High traffic or high trend - low density keywords) Who is DJ Montano and Brian Gorrell and why you should get to know them Exploiting the Pinay Scandal keyword How Mr. Bean can help bring traffic to your blog or website Googel = Googol = ? In order to achieve this, follow these steps: 1.) Check if the keyword is a high traffic or high trend keyword– Go to Google trends and type a keyword. If it shows up in … [Read more...]

Outsourcing your computer needs

April 27, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz Leave a Comment

We live in a world of constant change. New technologies, new ideas, new ways of doing things is always discovered everyday in order that our businesses might become more profitable and more responsive to our customer’s needs. A new way of doing things in this age of information technology is what we know as the concept of outsourcing. This is applies not only to outsourcing certain types of jobs but outsourcing equipment and machinery. Before, companies used to buy all their machineries and equipment. Nowadays, renting instead of buying is more sensible since you do not need to spend for maintenance, upgrades or shoulder the cost of depreciation. This will let you save in the long run for as long as the rental price is reasonable. This is most especially applicable when it comes to information technology products. A good company to consider is Twin Cities Digital or TCD. This Minnesota based company has over 20 years experience of marketing computer products worldwide. … [Read more...]

Where we spent our Holy week (2008)

April 25, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 5 Comments

For all Filipinos, whether, Catholics, Protestants or Muslims, we all have one thing in common, Holy week means a long vacation for all of us. Personally, I did not want to go out on Holy week for a vacation. I was thinking that I will spend time finishing my book, promoting my blog or spend my time watching some movies. However my wife wanted us to go out for an overnight stay at a beach resort somewhere in the Northern part of Cebu, specifically San Remigio which is famous for its white sandy beaches and its having the longest coast line in Cebu. I was about to make a reservation when my parents called. They asked me where we will spend our Holy week. I told them about our plans. They said they also plan to stay overnight in Hidden Paradise, a mountain resort in San Fernando, Cebu (Around 20 kilometers from Cebu City and about 45 minutes to an hour drive from our house. (The place is also known as “CampXTerra” for outdoor adventurers. Check out their site: … [Read more...]
