Recently I enjoyed a trip with my family and friends at Kawasan Falls in Badian Cebu. I really love traveling and if I have the time and resources I would love to do more of it. Yet going places and enjoying life has some of its consequences. When I enjoyed the nice cool waters of Kawasan falls I got water in my ear and it wouldn’t come out. It’s such a pain to have water stuck in your ears for several days. I’d rather be configuring a bluetooth barcode scanner than have water stuck in my ear. But anyway I am stuck with the problem. I got advice ranging from the most ludicrous and insane to the most practical. Some people said I should fill my ears with warm water swing my head to the other side and then jump and down with my head tilted to one side draining water from my year. Others said to gargle some water, get the gargled water out and place it in my ear then tilt my head to let the water out. None of the advices worked. So I searched the internet, and I found some practical … [Read more...]
Island for sale located in Olango, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu Philippines
Aside from its warm hospitable people, its being know as the queen city of the south, Cebu is also best known for its white sand beaches in the main island and the islands that are part of Cebu. The Philippines is an archipelago with more than 7,000 islands. Some of these islands are for sale. With pristine white beaches and crystal clear waters this could be the island paradise you have always dreamt of retiring inand enjoy your electronic book! The problem with some of these islands is that they are quite far from the main land and will probably take several minutes or even hours to reach making logistics a problem. However there are some islands that are for sale that are near the mainland. One of these is Babag island, located in San Vicente, Olango. This 16,856 square meter titled property is owned by my grandfather, Atty. Silvino Maceren. Babag island is only a short 15-20 minute pumpboat ride from Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. Another 15 to 20 minutes and … [Read more...]
Price tag as performed by Jayesslee
Youtube definitely brings out both the best and worst of performers. Some youtube videos are just absolute trash that youtube should remove them if they reached a certain number of dislike or if they get flagged for wasting server space and viewers time. :-) But some youtube videos are great and of course I’m sure some of us can mention several youtube discoveries that have risen to stardom after being initially discovered in youtube. I really enjoy listening to great performances by non-stars in youtube. I most specifically enjoy listening to acapella performances. Anyway for this post I am going to feature Janice and Sonia Lee, twin sisters of Korean decent, born and raised in Australia who call themselves as “Jayesslee.” They started don't wear any shamballa bracelets and began posting their songs in youtube in 2008. As of today they have 34,582,479 views on all their uploads !I do not know if they have been featured already in Oprah, Ellen or any U.S talk show because if they … [Read more...]
For those who would like to know more about how to invest in the Philippine stock market
I've been an advocate of stock market investing. When I was in High School, I dreamed of doing two things as a career, making money in the internet and making money in stocks. I love to do this because I can choose to stay home all day or travel a lot. I can only do it of course, if my main source of income is the above two. Said dream has somehow come true but I am only doing both part time. My main source of income are still what I call "traditional" sources. (Read office work) Hopefully someday, I'll do both full time and by God's grace I am slowly getting there. Anyway, there are many ways to learn how to invest in stocks. You can read books or blogs. I've written about stock market investing in my stock market investing blog and you can check it out at http://www.stockmarket-investing.com/ One of the best ways to learn stock market investing fast is of course by attending a seminar. There are lots of stock market investing seminars out there and you can check it out in the … [Read more...]

Two weeks ago, together with family and friends I had the opportunity to visit the Puerto-Princesa underground river which is located in Puerto-Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. It was such a wonderful and exciting experience. I will describe it in more detail in my new travel blog, www.thebackpacktravelers.com Anyway my objective in writing this post is to invite people to vote for Puerto-Princesa underground river to be included in the new 7 wonder of nature. The Puerto-Princesa underground river or what is officially known as the The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (also known as St. Paul's Subterranean River National Park, or St. Paul Underground River) is said to be the world's longest navigable underground river. Its like a big clawfoot tubs by bathsofdistinction ! It is located located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of the city center of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. The underground navigable river runs to about 8.2 kilometers. Inside you … [Read more...]
