Of all the weird topics I want to share, you might be scratching your head and wondering why I am talking about a flat tire. Well, it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I was blogging, trying to make some money online when my wife interrupted me by telling me she wanted her flat tire changed.
I reluctantly went out. I have changed a flat tire before and it was a no brainer. It was not as if I was changing Ferrari parts. I was so anxious to finish it because I wanted to finish my blogging and then go right to sleep because I wanted didn’t want to miss my afternoon nap.
So I got the spare, positioned the jack, started using the lug nut wrench to get the lug nuts off. Silly me, instead of turning the lug nut wrench (We call it a “tire wrench” here) counterclockwise, I turned it clockwise and forced it with all my might. Suddenly, I heard a snap. It was then that I realized that I should have turned it counterclockwise. Unfortunately, I broke one of the bolts that held the tire in its place. Aghhhhhhrrrr !!!!
Instead of beating myself, I just continued to change the flat tire, went inside and continued working on my blog.
I may have regretted this unfortunate flat tire experience, but I later realized that something good might come out of this. “Flat tire” is a HITLOD keyword, so I just decided to ambush it and hope that my unfortunate flat tire experience might help bring me some online money.
