Boxing aficionados are once again in for a treat this coming Saturday, November 22, 2008 (Sunday in the Philippines) when Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton squares of with Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi. The delayed telecast will be broadcasted in the Philippine local channel, ABS-CBN. However I am sure that people will be all over the internet looking for a more up to date Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton vs. Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi youtube video or a streaming video of the fight.
I am not very familiar with Paulie “The Magic Man” Malignaggi . (Add to the fact that his family name is not very easy to remember) However a quick search in the internet reveals that he has an impressive 25-1-0 record.
The veteran Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton is quite a familiar face. He has more experience than Malignaggi and holds a very impressive 45-1-0 record. He is quite familiar with the Philippine crowd as our very own Manny Pacquiao is rumored to be matched against him sometime in the future. I think this plan has been postponed because of Manny’s own fight with the Golden Boy in December of 2008. I hope these guys have taken out a family health insurance before they blow each other’s brains out.
