Welcome polymaths !

Ever get the feeling that you seem to don't know what to do with your life because there are just so many things that you want to do ? I know, I've been there, so welcome to the club.

My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." I've finally embraced who I am and decided to turn my main blog into some sort of guide for people with so much interest. Feel free to poke around.

I’ve got the latest Warren Buffett book!

November 28, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 2 Comments

I’ve added the latest Warren Buffett book to my collection bringing my Warren Buffett book library to a total of 14 books. They say that there are about 200 books on Warren Buffett, so I have 186 more to add to my Warren Buffett book library whahahahha ! ?

I have three passions when it comes to collecting items. These are pins, artifacts from another place or culture and you guessed it a Warren Buffett book !

Lately, I had become a fan of Warren Buffett and I have searched far and wide for materials to add to my Warren Buffett book collection. Last month, I wrote a post entitled “How Warren Buffett made me poor.”  You might want to check that out.

My parents just arrived from the United States and I asked them to bring me some pins and some Warren Buffett books. They brought three with them; those are “The Snowball – Warren Buffett and the business of life” by Alice Shroeder, “Warren Buffett and the interpretation of financial statements” by my favorite Buffetologist, Mary Buffett and David Clark and the “Warren Buffett way” by Robert Hagstorm.

“The Snowball” is about 800+ pages thick and is the thickest Warren Buffett book I have ever come across. Just released recently, this biography is said to be the only one authorized directly by Warren Buffett himself. An avid Filipino Warren Buffett fan said that this latest Warren Buffett book is the Harry Potter for Buffetologists. I certainly agree! I have not started reading the book yet, but I will start reading it sometime next year.

“Warren Buffett and the interpretation of financial statement” is the modern day equivalent of the 1932 classic, “The interpretation of financial statements” by Benjamin Graham. This thin 200 page book may look small, but don’t let its looks deceive you. This Warren Buffett book is so full of useful information on how to search for companies with a durable advantage. After you have mastered the concepts in this Warren Buffett book you are sure to become an expert in securities analysis. I already read this book on my recent trip to Baguio and I plan to read it again.

I have not scanned “The Warren Buffett Way” yet but I am sure it will be as exciting as the other Robert Hagstorm book that I have read (The Essential Buffett: Timeless principles for a new economy)

I purchased another Warren Buffett book weeks ago from powerbooks SM Cebu entitled “Buffetology” by Mary Buffett and David Clark. I have read the book already and have learned a lot about how Warren Buffett makes his winning stock purchases.

I have finished reading about 6 of my existing Warren Buffett book collection.. I am currently reading my 7th Warren Buffett book. Expect my review on them in the coming posts. I really think I need some appetite suppressant to help supress my appetite in reading Buffett books hehehehehe

If you would like to purchase a Warren Buffett book why not purchase them at my Guerilla blogger estore ? It’s powered by Amazon so it’s safe, fast and easy. Click here to shop for a cheap Warren Buffett book.

Xuzhu: No. I don’t even have that book yet. However you can take a peak at what’s inside “The Warren Buffett Protofolio” through google books.

To get a full copy of the book, get “The Warren Buffett Protofolio” at my Guerilla blogger eStore.
