Welcome polymaths !

Ever get the feeling that you seem to don't know what to do with your life because there are just so many things that you want to do ? I know, I've been there, so welcome to the club.

My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." I've finally embraced who I am and decided to turn my main blog into some sort of guide for people with so much interest. Feel free to poke around.

Ghosts in your basement ?

May 17, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz 1 Comment

My grandparents have a basement in their old house. When I was a kid they used to tell us not to go in there because there are some “spirits” living there. In fact a lot of people tell us a lot of ghost stories connected with such basement. I always thought that they were only trying to scare us because they do not want us to touch any of their stuff stored there.

Unfortunately, the stories stuck with some of my cousins, aunts and uncles. Later on the old house was converted into a school and the basement was utilized as a classroom. The teacher and the students stopped holding classes there because a lot of students got sick and that there were this strange feeling and odor in the basement. The living in the basement ghost story became alive again.

Although I believe in evil spirits but I do not believe that they do not lurk around my grandparent’s basement. However a different kind of “ghost” lurks around not only in my grandparent’s basement but in all basements as well.

If you have a basement, you must have the same experience, the same strange feeling and the same strange odor. So how would you like to remove the “ghosts” in your basement? I suggest you get a basement dehumidifier.

Basements are prone to the growth of molds because molds like the cool climate in the basement. Basement dehumidifiers help prevent the growth of molds and at the same time eliminate the mildew odor the they produce.

With a basement dehumidifiers you may not “exorcise” the real ghost but at least you can remove the “ghost”-like feeling.

I do believe in ghosts because I’ve experienced it myself. If you want me to elaborate, just let me know.
