Welcome polymaths !

Ever get the feeling that you seem to don't know what to do with your life because there are just so many things that you want to do ? I know, I've been there, so welcome to the club.

My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." I've finally embraced who I am and decided to turn my main blog into some sort of guide for people with so much interest. Feel free to poke around.

My Favorite preacher

January 27, 2008 by Zigfred Diaz Leave a Comment

John MacArthur is the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California since 1969, and is the president of The Master’s College (and the related The Master’s Seminary) in Santa Clarita, California. He is a prolific writer and minister noted for his radio program titled Grace to You.

MacArthur’s theology can be considered a Dispensationalist and Calvinist, and a strong proponent of expository preaching. He has been acknowledged by Christianity Today as one of the most influential preachers of his time, and has frequently guessed on the Larry King Live TV talk show as a representative of an evangelical Christian perspective.

He has authored or edited more than 150 books, most notably the MacArthur Study Bible, which has sold more than 1 million copies and received a Gold Medallion Book Award.  Other best-selling books include his MacArthur New Testament Commentary Series (more than 1 million copies), Twelve Ordinary Men, (more than 500,000 copies), and the children’s book A Faith to Grow On, which garnered an ECPA Christian Book Award.

I frequently listen to John MacArthur’s preaching. I really appreciate his expository preaching style. It has influenced me so much.

Watch this short video about Dr. John MacArthur Jr. At the end of the video you will understand why he is my favorite preacher !!!
