About Zigfred Diaz
I am a person who wears several hats at the same time. Aside from being a full time husband and a father, I am a practicing lawyer, a law professor, a Vice President for operations of a group of family owned corporations, a licensed broadcaster, a licensed real estate broker, a financial broker, blogger and a writer as well.
My unsatiable thirst for learning has led me to wander into several fields of studies. My undergraduate studies have been spent studying the intricacies of systems improvement and design through my degree in Industrial engineering. During my undergraduate studies I have enrolled myself voluntarily in short term courses such as human resources management, practical accounting & book keeping, several computer courses including being a computer technician. I then took up law and by God’s grace passed the Philippine bar exams. My current graduate studies involve pursuing an integrated masters and doctorate in theology. Future learning plans involve pursuing a Master’s degree in business administration and formalizing my financial planning education. I consider lifelong learning as one of my ultimate goals.
I decided to mention my credentials here not to show off but rather to show that my idle ramblings are not merely without basis or merit no matter how ludicrous they are considering that I obviously have the capacity to do so given my diverse educational background and experiences.
I have varied interest and I don’t simply pursue one out of curiosity luckily, I have the patience and the time to pursue my passions. I don’t believe I ended up as a jack of all trade and a master of none. I do not claim to be a master of everything I had been involved in, however I do claim that I have somewhat achieved a level of accomplishment in all the interest that I have pursued.
I’ve always believed that my life can be and will be full of color. My vision statement is simple, I want to be remembered and the way I see this can be achieved is to write a book, sire a son and plant a tree. I’ve done two of the three, it’s just the tree planting that I still have not worked on yet.
My mission statement is simply this: I am what I am only by the Grace of God and I desire to live, to love, to learn and to leave a legacy all for the Almighty.
