To repent is not a little thing to leave out it a part of being saved we need to be accountable to God and repent ask for mercy and grace which he freely gives The gospel is a rock of offence we need to see and acknowledge our sins and it is by our acknowledgment we come to God

…a watered down gospel is a great place for beginners (gotta walk before you can run) but too many beginners never get to the meat of the gospel 1) because the watered down version is so delicious and easy there’s no point in moving beyond it or 2) because the pastors aren’t telling them it’s just a watered down incomplete version and to move on to the meat. There’s no money to be made in real Christianity… only in cheap grace.

it is true that it is a watered down gospel and it’s okay for those who are seeking to understand the meaning of life. If Pastor Warren has to write the fullness of the Gospel, I don’t think anyone can understand or want to read this book. He makes the book simple and plain for the mass to read and understand.
