lol…hi…im actually one of the locals of camotes island..particularly in santiago…i knew uncle alex dagatan, his nieces were my friends…i like how youv writtn this blog…it made me smile..its been a while since ive seen santiago…when i left they were still developing it…it looks to me like a lot has changed now…ive heard all those stories when i was young and up until now i still wonder if they were true…thanx for posting it…pls. recommend camotes island to ur friends as a heavenly paradise…i kno they will surely enjoy sparing time there..

Liked your blog on Camotes! I’ve been there 2x now, and will be back this Nov 09 to stay a few more days. It’s the only beach that I love swimming in, very enchanting indeed. I stayed in Santiago Beach Resort, and loved it. Buy fish from the fishermen and eat by the beach (there’s a SUTUKIL there), or you can drop by the market for pork and chicken. Love it! Love it!

stud89: Sometime in the near future I will write a posts about it I’ve been proposing to my friend that we write a book about the title would be something like “Myths and legends of enchanting Camotes island.” As of now, he is still not serious about pursuing a writing career. Perhaps I will someday. I need to recall all the stuff he told me.

I think everyone has been to Camotes except me.
I am a Bisdak but never really had the chance to go.
