Another Pinay Scandal ?
I wrote two posts on the keyword “Pinay scandal” and it has been giving me a lot of traffic lately.
As I have pointed out in my previous posts, Pinay scandal refers to pornographic pictures and videos of Filipino women. The “Pinay scandal “ keyword s considered as a high trend low density word.
My first posts about Pinay scandal, was what I dubbed as “The real Pinay scandal.” The real pinay scandal is not that Filipino women are featured in pornographic sites online. Rather it is the exploitation of women and even minors. You can read more about this in the post entitled “Pinay Scandal”
The second post I did about Pinay scandal is about exploiting the Pinay scandal keyword. Since this is a high trend low density keyword, bloggers might take advantage of the traffic that will be brought to their site. Also optimizing the “Pinay Scandal” keyword is hitting two birds with one stone. First, more traffic is brought to your blog or site and secondly you help eliminate the Pinay scandal sites that contain pornographic materials. But this post is not about capturing traffic or optimizing the “Pinay Scandal” keyword. Neither is this posts about the exploitation of Filipino women and children. This is exposing another type of Pinay scandal that we as Filipinos and Filipino women in particular should be ashamed of.
As you all know, a lot of Filipino women has been flocking to internet cafes in order to search for a foreign husband. Although there are those who are truly looking for true love online, there are only those whose main purpose is to marry for reasons of money. That is why some of these women resort to any kind of scheme in order that they could marry foreigners.
I believe there is nothing wrong if you desire that the person you marry is financially stable. In fact, it is considered a good decision to marry somebody who is financially stable even if not necessarily well off.
I also believe that there is nothing wrong with marrying foreigners. In fact I have good friends who are married to foreigners.
Don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against Filipino women who marry rich foreigners, for as long as they marry because they truly love their foreign spouse.
What I am against is marrying foreigners for money or in the hope that your foreign spouse could somehow help you save your family from the clutches of poverty and whiz you away into some foreign country which you consider as a land flowing with milk and honey.
It may be unthinkable but some Filipino women really do this. In fact I would go the extent of calling them as having “prostituted” themselves just to attain a much more higher standing in life. These type of women do not even care if the guy they are marrying is old enough to be their grandfathers. This type of attitude among some Filipino women is what I call another Pinay Scandal.
A rather disturbing “Pinay scandal” situation is that some married Filipino women are presenting themselves as single online. I have heard of horror stories wherein marriages has been broken because the wife has a “foreign” boyfriend while living with her husband.
You might think that the above situation is so scandalous, but brace yourself for the ultimate pinay scandal, that is that some Filipino husbands consent to what their wives are doing. When the foreigner comes to the Philippines, the husband simply presents himself as a relative.
Shame on the Filipino women who are doing this. Shame to the husband who consents to his wife’s illegal deeds. If there is a scandal that is the mother of all Pinay scandal, then not doing something about it as a people could be the worst of all pinay scandals.
