However, I view things differently now. Like you, customizing my vehicle is a waste of my precious hard earned money. Besides, the value of any car decreases with time. One can spend thousands remodeling their vehicle, but the resale value is still low. My view of a vehicle is a means to get me from point A to point B and nothing further although I spend money for regular maintenance. So instead of spending resources on customizations, I'd rather put the money away towards something more valuable - retirement savings or memorable vacations.
