If it is blaring in front of my face, I can't sit still and I feel I have to think about something before I go crazy. It drives me absolutely nuts. Does this make me a bad person? Why do I hate Gospel music so much?No, it doesn't make you a bad person. It could be the style, but probably the lyrics are more annoying to you and that's understandable. For example, I love Aretha Franklin's music but I rarely listen to her gospel recordings, because I find much of it is repetitive and overly-emotional, so perhaps you are feeling something similar when you hear gospel.
